Nuevos Amigos

Common questions when I send my family any pictures from my time insofar in Spain: “Who’s that???” From here on out I’d love to set it straight. The fellow auxiliaries I have met in Vigo so far range in nationality, school, program, and age. However, I feel extraordinarily lucky to have found such an amazing group of like-minded and adventurous people. I am sure that over the course of the year you will read all about our adventures, mishaps, shared holidays, and celebrations together. For those of you wondering who they are, here’s just a quick rundown of mis amigos:

• The roomies: Jennie (from Chicago) & Lindsey (from New York).

• The ones who took me in: Emily (from New York) and her boyfriend Thomas (my favorite Dutchman).

• The Thursday Night Sangria Crew: Forrest (from Indiana), Ashley (from Toronto, Canada), Jesse and Kaila (both from Ohio), Michelle, & Julia (from the South).

• And Others I have met along the way: Aisling (from Ireland), her boyfriend Dan, and Alan (from the UK) from work. **Not pictured**
